Outstanding! Who would have thought we’d have the best schnitzel in Canada (and we’re German!). Everything was incredibly delicious and tasted just like home. The service was very friendly and quick. Definitely worth a visit – we’ll be back for sure! :-)

We had a fantastic experience here this weekend! The staff were incredibly welcoming, and the food was beyond delicious. Huge thanks to Chef Josh for making the visit feel truly special — it’s not something we’ll forget anytime soon.

I had an exceptional experience at this place! The atmosphere was absolutely delightful, with beautiful classical music setting a serene and elegant tone. Every detail, from the decor to the service, was carefully thought out, creating a cohesive and stylish ambiance. The food was absolutely delicious—every dish was a true culinary delight. The staff were incredibly friendly and professional, making the entire experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a refined and memorable dining experience!

To be short, delicious, inviting, and elegant. I tried the Schnitzel “Cordon Blue” accompanied by the “Jeremy Salad” (dressing is delightful) and side Homemade Sauerkraut, the Kozel and Czechvar beer, and the Crepe “a ’la King”. All of which were delicious, the schnitzel breading was just the right amount of crunch, texture, and flavour. Paired with the sauerkraut to expand the taste which it most satisfyingly did. Tried two of the dark Czech beers, the Kozel is my personal favourite, but both are great. Topped it off with the crepe desert, and to be honest, blew my mind away. I will definitely come here again and recommend it to everyone. Service was also pleasantly splendid. The price per the review is because I went all out, we always have to y’know! P.S. share the sauerkraut with at least 2 people haha. Edit: Came again the next day! Got the Smoked Pork Shoulder, 2x Kozel, and the Smoked Salmon Canapes. Needless to say, all delicious. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND the smoked pork shoulder, perfectly tender, juicy, and taste. Also, presentation on point!

Ever had a meal so good you knew it was the best of the trip before the trip was even over? I just had lunch at Bistro Praha and that's the feeling I have. I ordered the traditional Schnitzel and it was literally the best I've ever had (I'm nearly 70). The house salad was much better than one would expect a complimentary salad to be. I couldn't resist trying the soup Dejour, Cream of Pickle. I'd never heard of it before, it was wonderful. I won't be able to order Schnitzel ever again. I had no idea what a good Schnitzel was, but I live 900 miles away. So, of course, with everything being so good, I ordered dessert. I think it was called 'Austrian' Apple Strudel. It was definitely apple strudel though and yes, it was delicious. The server was Rhonda and her knowledge of Czech cuisine is obvious. She made the whole lunch experience wonderful.

A unique and eclectic place Bistro Praha is a gem and (not so hidden) diamond dining destination in downtown Edmonton. The food is consistent, delicious and exactly what you would expect for Eastern European food. The sauerkraut soup is the perfect texture and balanced in flavour. The homemade herb dressing could be bottled and sold. The schnitzel is airy and perfectly crispy as it's not over breaded or over seasoned. This Calgary girl (who is not even from Eastern Europe) visits every time she is in Edmonton. Service is also accommodating, efficient and courteous without being overbearing. A must visit!

Absolutely loved our dinner here! The food was delicious and had good portion sizes. The staff were all so friendly and kind and the restaurant was a little squishy but had a very homey feel. We tried the fried breaded cheese, house salad, goulash with bread dumplings, smoked pork shoulder, grilled chicken, Austrian apple strudel, and the strawberry crepe, and everything was amazing. The dinner was a little pricey but so so worth it. We’ll definitely be back

Real food, honest service, lovely atmosphere. We ordered the Fillet Mignon. It comes with starter Salads which I am glad the waiter didn't allow us to upgrade prior to trying; they were wonderful. Steak of superior cut and trimmed was a pleasure every bite. Desserts included a very reasonable table. Glad to meet the distinguished service.
